In a study led by Columbia University’s Zuckerman Institute, the Champalimaud Centre for the Unknown, and the University of California at Berkeley, researchers have observed in mice how the brain learns to repeat patterns of neural activity that lead to the brain’s reward center. This study can work to provide insights on treating addiction and obsessive-compulsive disorder.
