President Donald J. Trump has announced the 314 recipients of the Presidential Early CareerAward for Scientists and Engineers (PECASE). PECASE is the highest honor bestowed by the United States government on outstanding scientists and engineers in the beginning stages of their independent research careers who demonstrate notable promise for leadership in science and technology. The award, established in 1996, acknowledges contributions to the advancement of these fields and research through scientific leadership, public education and community outreach.
