When researchers and research institutions look to share information across the nation or around the world, they look to NYSERNet’s Colo@32 — our unique colocation center at 32 Avenue of the Americas in New York City.

It’s the place on the east coast where national and international networks meet and exchange traffic. Our goal in providing low-cost, carrier-grade facilities and broad access to a wide array of data and voice providers is to support research. The Colo@32 provides unparalleled opportunities for reasonably priced interconnections.

At the same time, the hub is home to a collaboration by NYSERNet, Internet2 and Indiana University called MAN LAN that makes peering simple. With its points-of-presence, research and education network, and dense wavelength division multiplexing fiber network, The Colo@32 is quickly gaining a reputation as the Northeast’s premiere research and education networking hub.

Constructed on the 24th Floor of “The Hub at 32 Sixth”, our 1,500-square-foot facility is adjacent to two major Manhattan carrier facilities: 60 Hudson Street and 111 8th Avenue.
